Laser Innovations for Research and Applications (LIRA) is a Semi - annual periodical, open access and peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish original research papers and reviews and aims to provide a forum for the rapid dissemination of significant novel research in all aspects of laser physics sciences and their applications in chemistry, biology. Also, it provides a forum for the publication of papers on innovative techniques, safety and regulations, and clinical aspects of the use of medical lasers, including lasers in surgery, and photodynamic therapy. In addition to agricultural and environmental applications.
Types of papers:
Manuscript Submission:
Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.
Permissions:
Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.
Online Submission:
Please follow the hyperlink “Submit manuscript” and upload all of your manuscript files following the instructions given on the screen.
Source Files:
Please ensure you provide all relevant editable source files at every submission and revision. Failing to submit a complete set of editable source files will result in your article not being considered for review. For your manuscript text please always submit in common word processing formats such as .docx .
Editorial Procedure
Double-blind peer review:
As this journal follows a double-blind peer review system, please do not include identifying information in your main manuscript as this must remain blinded. If sections of your manuscript such as ‘Authors’ contributions’ or ‘any acknowledgements, disclosures, or funding information please include these in your Title Page, along with the author names and contact information.
Title Page:
Please make sure your title page contains the following information.
Title:
The title should be concise and informative.
Author information
The journal encompasses all aspects of laser physics sciences including, quantum electronics, quantum optics, quantum electrodynamics, nonlinear optics, atom optics, quantum computation, quantum information processing and storage, fiber optics and their applications in chemistry, biology. Also, it provides a forum for the publication of papers on innovative techniques, safety and regulations, and clinical aspects of the use of medical lasers, including lasers in surgery, endoscopy, hyperthermia of tumors, and photodynamic therapy. In addition to agricultural and environmental applications.
Abstract:
Provide a structured abstract of 150 to 250 words. Please minimize the use of abbreviations and do not cite references in the abstract.
Keywords:
Please provide 4 to 6 keywords representing the main content of the article.
Introduction:
The introduction section should explain the background to the study, its aims, a summary of the existing literature and why this study was n Material and Methods
The methods section should include:
Results:
This should include the findings of the study including, if appropriate, results of statistical analysis which must be included either in the text or as tables and figures.
Discussion:
For research articles this section should discuss the implications of the findings in context of existing research and highlight limitations of the study. For study protocols and methodology manuscripts this section should include a discussion of any practical or operational issues involved in performing the study and any issues not covered in other sections.
Conclusions:
This should state clearly the main conclusions and provide an explanation of the importance and relevance of the study to the field.
All manuscripts must contain the following sections under the heading:
Please see below for details on the information to be included in these sections.
If any of the sections are not relevant to your manuscript, please include the heading and write 'Not applicable' for that section.

Availability of data and materials:
Not applicable. If your manuscript does not contain any data, please state 'Not applicable' in this section.
Competing interests:
All financial and non-financial competing interests must be declared in this section.
If you are unsure whether you or any of your co-authors have a competing interest, please contact the editorial office.
Please use the authors’ initials to refer to each authors' competing interests in this section.
If you do not have any competing interests, please state "The authors declare that they have no competing interests" in this section.
Funding:
All sources of funding for the research reported should be declared. The role of the funding body in the design of the study and collection, analysis, and interpretation of data and in writing the manuscript should be declared.

Footnotes:
Footnotes should be designated within the text using a superscript number. It is not allowed to use footnotes for references/citations.
References:
Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended in the reference list but may be mentioned in the text. Citation of a reference as 'in press' implies that the item has been accepted for publication.
